Seagrove and Springvale Beaches

Springvale Beach is easily accessed either by foot or car with Public transport available nearby. Springvale has a long sandy and pebble beach providing safe swimming for visitors. The area is peaceful which makes this an ideal family beach.

Seagrove is located between Seaview and St Helens and accords a view over the Eastern Solent. The beach can be accessed by car but parking is limited. Seagrove delivers a sandy beach and has remained unchanged. This beach is a haven for families to enjoy a peaceful day.

During the summer season both Springvale and Seagrove beaches are litter picked on a daily basis and large amounts of seaweed are removed and taken to local farmers for use as compost. Safety is of the utmost importance and emergency equipment such as Lifebelts are strategically located in order to ensure safety at any time of the year.

Springvale and Seagrove  have not only been awarded Quality Coast Awards but have also been successful in displaying their Water Quality Award.

Like anywhere, Springvale and Seagrove beaches have their natural hazards, so be sure to take notice of the safety signs and also read the safety guidelines and have a good time. Information is provided at each area so check this out.

Freshwater Bay is a small sand and shingle bay adjacent to bus route, car park, coastal walks, nature trail, golf course, refreshments and toilet.

Ryde Beach
